About us

Global Tech Connect (GTC) unites UK-based international startup programmes and bilateral organisations to better support tech companies from their national ecosystems – those looking to enter, learn from or scale in the UK. By sharing knowledge, experience and expertise we strengthen ties between countries, expand startup networks, increase opportunities for entrepreneurs, and foster international economic growth.

Partner Organisations

Our partners are Advantage Austria; Bulgarian Expansion Bridge, the British Croatian Chamber of Commerce; Business Finland; La FrenchTech; de:hub (Germany); UK Israel Tech Hub; TechItalia; UK/Romania Business; Innosuisse, and Hackquarters by Tenity (Turkey).

Participation is open to other international programmes that demonstrate an ability to support startups from their home countries, and which share the aims and values of Global Tech Connect.

What we do

GTC’s main activity is themed bootcamps – hybrid programmes providing startups with expert insight into a sector
and its operation in the UK, and offering corporate, investor and ecosystem introductions to smooth market entry and boost their chances of success.

With seven Bootcamps behind us and almost 130 alumni across 17 countries in our network, Global Tech Connect has quietly become the UK’s leading specialist market entry initiative – acquisitions have totalled over $1bn and in 2024 alone our startups raised more than $50m.

Programmes are provided free of charge to companies and we take no equity.
